RABAT, Morocco — August 10, 2026 — The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is set to conduct the official draw for the 2026 Futsal Africa Cup of Nations today at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Morocco, determining the tournament path for eight qualified national teams.
The countries participating in the draw are Algeria, Angola, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Mozambique, Tanzania and Zambia.
The draw will determine the tournament groups and opening matchups as the eight nations prepare to compete for the continental futsal title.
Eight Nations Ready for Continental Competition
The 2026 tournament brings together teams from different regions of the continent, with several established African futsal nations returning to the competition.
Host nation Morocco enters the tournament with a strong recent record in African futsal, while Angola, Egypt, Libya and other qualifiers will seek to advance through the competition.
Algeria, Mozambique, Tanzania and Zambia complete the eight-team field.
